Cessna Aircraft to Closes Three Georgia Plants
Cessna Aircraft Company will close three Columbus, Georgia plants within six-24 months, AP reports.
Flying Musicians Association Hosts the 1st ever Annual Event.
The first ever Fly-In Musicfest, held by the Flying Musicians Association on November 7, 2009 at the Fort Worth Spinks Airport (FWS) in Fort Worth, Texas was a success. On aircraft display include a B-25 "Pacific Prowler" Mitchell, C-47 Skytrain, Russian Antonov AN 2 bi-plane, Extra 300LP and a Duo Discus sailplane. Overall there were 130 musicians performing on two stages thought the day. The musicians performing include: Ravi Raviator, Bradley Leighton, Jay Carpneter, Ray Ricketts and many more performed. Each musician has an aviation background.

Gobham's Digital Audio Control System Recieves Technical Standards Order
Gobham's Digital Audio Control System (DACS) has received Technical Standards Order (TSO) certification from the FAA. It'll approve the manufacture DACS installation on certified aircraft.
Washington Aviation Moves to Arlington Municipal Airport
After 7 years at the Smokey Point Gateway Center, Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Aviation is moving offices to the Arlington Municipal Airport (AWO) in Arlington, Washington. The Moving days are December 14-16. It opens officially on December 17 and an open house is December 22 from 11:00 am to 6:00pm. The new location will give better convince to aviation pilots.
Republic Airport Hosts Pearl Harbor Memorial Ceremony
An estimated of 400 people participated at the Pearl Harbor memorial ceremonies on December 7, 2009 at the Republic Airport (FRG) in East Farmingdale, New York.
FAA Talks Aboyt $7 Billion in Bids for NextGen
The FAA is talking about bids from companies interested in competing for NextGen contracts with $7 billion in value. The SE2020 contracts will be given to companies who'll perform research and development work. This work ethic will help benefit NextGen, such as Automatic Dependent Surveillance System , System Wide Information Management and Data Communications. Five year contracts will be awarded in summer with subsequent three and two-year options.
