The Bear 360 makes its debut at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2009. The Bear 360 is a warbird aircraft. The Bear 360 is built in Russia by Bear Aircraft. This unique aircraft is a cross between a F8F Bearcat and a P-51 Mustang. This aircraft is all aluminum.

Falcomposite made its first visit to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh in 2009 debuting their new product called a Furio which is a two-seat low-wing airplane with retractable landing gear. This aircraft will be distributed by Scion Aircraft in the United States.

Piper Aircraft displayed their Very Light Jet (VLJ) the Piper PA-47 PiperJet at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2009 during flight demonstrations and on the ground. This is the first time the Piper PA-47 PiperJet made a visit to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. The Piper PA-47 PiperJet features six standard seats and if you chose between having a seventh seat or more storage space.

The Antares 20E is currently in production. The Antares will classify as an electric sailplane. It has a 66-foot wingspan, pylon-mounted 57-hp motor, glide ration 56:1. The Antares will cost $300,000.

In his comments on the final day of the event, EAA President Tom Poberezny said, "When times are tough, people make choices. Those with a passion for aviation made their choice this year...Oshkosh was the place they couldn't miss in 2009. I've been chairman of AirVenture since the mid-1970s, and I have to say we've never had a better lineup of airplanes, people, and programs than we had this year."
