Icon A5 amphibian light-sport aircraft made its Oshkosh on-flight debut on Monday, July 27, 2009 at EAA AirVenture 2009. Icon A5 is an amphibious aircraft. An amphibious aircraft is an aircraft that can take off and land either on land or water. The Icon A5 has a 100hp Rotax 912 ULS engine that can run on aviation grade or automotive grade gasoline. The Icon A5 are expected to start delivering by the third quarter of 2011.
