Hartzell Makes Deal with Hawker Beechcraft
Hartzell Propeller Inc. has signed an agreement with Hawker Beechcraft Corporation (HBC) for the exclusive use of the propeller. The agreement is for five years and covers G36 Bonanza, G58 Baron, King Air C90GTx, 360i aircraft.

Commemorative Air Force Establishes Hall of Fame
The Commemorative Air Force (CAF) has established a member hall of fame. “We want to recognize those individuals responsible for setting the course that the Commemorative Air Force has taken,” said CAF President Stephan Brown. “The CAF has grown over the years from a small band of pilots to a group of over 8,500 members from all walks of life. While we still have a great number of pilots in our ranks, the CAF now encompasses people of all different passions and interests.” The CAF will be honoring the members each year at its annual Wing Staff conference. They'll recognize two members. The members continue to support the organization.

NetJets Cancels 2.6 Billion Hawker Beechcraft Orders
NetJets has announced a major cost-cutting by canceling $2.6 billion worth of orders. A month earlier NetJets announced layoffs of 495 pilots from its services.
Embraer Phenom 300 now Certified
Embraer Phenom 300 is a light jet aircraft developed by Embraer. It can carry 8 or 9 people. On December 29, 2009 Embraer delivered the first Phenom 300 to Executive Flight Services. On Monday it got FAA type certification

AvFab Recieves STC Approval for Headrest on Beechcraft King Air
Aviation Fabricators (AvFab) recently received STC approval for its Clear View Headrest o Beechcraft King Air seats. The headrest replaces plug in headrest. The new headrest can extend above the seat.
Garnett Industrial Airport adds AWOS
The Garnett Industrial Airport (K68) in Garnett, Kansas completed installation of a Belfort DigiWx II AWOS AV system. It is FAA certified automated weather system with altimeter and visibility with advisory winds, temperature and humidity. "Adding the AWOS AV to our airport adds another layer of safety to the airport operations," said Gary Ecclefield, airport manager.
