Friday, October 9, all four Cessna Pilot Center regional managers were informed that their positions were being cut for financial reasons.
Tuesday, October 13, an e-mail was sent to the centers advising them of the change.

Cessna Offers New Finance Options
Cessna Finance Corporation (CFC), has started a new finance program with lower rates for Cessna's single-engine piston and Caravan aircraft purchased in 2009. The CFC program offers new rates for the Cessna line of propeller aircraft.

EAA AirVenture 09: Cessna 162 American Society for Testing and Materials Compliance

Cessna Aircraft announced American Society for Testing and Materials compliance completion for its new model 162 SkyCatcher light-sport aircraft. Deliveries are expected to begin at the end of the year. It'll have the new Continental 0-200D 100-hp engine and a fixed-pitch prop, cruses at 118 knots and the maximum range of 470 nautical miles. The Cessna 162 features a Garmin G300 glass-panel avionics system.
