Key Air Joins Avfuel Network

Key Air has joined Avfeul. Key Air has three locations: Key Air South Florida (FPR) of Fort Pierce, Florida; Key Air Twin Cities (ANE) of Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota; and Key Air NY Metro (OXC) Oxford, Connecticut. From now till March 2010 these locations are featuring AVTRIP points on fuel purchases.

Kissimmee Air Museum Opens New Exhibit

Kissimmee Air Museum at the Kissimme Gateway Airport (ISM) in Kissimme, Florida opens new Pearl Harbor exhibit. The exhibit will feature predictions of Billy Mitchell in 1924 Pearl Harbor attack on December 7, 1941. Some new never before seen photos from Japanese, actual World War II artifices.

FAA Now Finalizes ADS-B TSO

The FAA has now finalized technical standard orders (TSOs) for Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) for Air Traffic Control system. ADS-B is the requirements they need for the next generation of air traffic control.

Angelica Maleskis wins Corporate Aviation Business Scholarship Award

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University student Angelica Maleskis, of Port Orange, Florida, wins the Corporate Aviation Business Scholarship for the 2009 by the National Aircraft Finance Association (NAFA). Angelica Maleskis is a senior Aviation Business Administration who is studying,Airport Management. She will have a scholarship of $3,448.

She was an American aviation pioneer who inspired billions of female pilots to learn to fly.

























David McCampbell (January 16, 1910-June 30, 1996, Aged 86).
David McCampbell was an American naval aviator who became the US Navy's all-time leading ace with 34 aerial victories during World War II. He had won awards in Medal of Honor, Navy Cross, Silver Star, Legion of Merit, Distinguished Flying Cross and an Air Medal. 


















LeRoy Browm was a Florida resident, 29 years of National Airline pilot with over 35,000 flight hours.
